Meet your dentistS
Dr. Carl M. Steger
Dr. Carl M. Steger is a Fairfax, Virginia native and owner of South Riding Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. A graduate of the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, he served three years as a captain in the United States Air Force, earning the Air Force Achievement Medal for Meritorious Service before returning home to practice. He purchased South Riding Family Dentistry in 2012.
Dr. Steger is a graduate of the prestigious Dawson Academy for advanced smile design and bite reconstruction, and an active member of the Loudoun County Spear Study Club. He's also one of a small percentage of dentists who use a microscope for greater precision, and specializes in complex restorative and cosmetic dentistry, minor surgical procedures, root canals, and implants.
A recipient of Northern Virginia Magazine's Top Dentist Award every year from 2015–2025, the Washingtonian Top Dentist award (2021–2025), and the Virginia Living Top Dentistry award (2022, 2023, 2025), Dr. Steger lives in Fairfax with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys mountain biking and traveling in his spare time.
Dr. Rishi Suresh
Dr. Rishi Suresh has lived in Loudoun County since 2005 and has been in the dental field since 2002, with experience as a dental assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist, and general dentist. Her goal is to provide patients with a comfortable experience and long-term, trusted care — from preventative treatment to cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign.
An active member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Dr. Suresh is deeply committed to community outreach, volunteering with Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and special needs dental programs through NVDS. She also serves on the Human Resource Committee for Innovative Life Solutions and with the Loudoun Medical Reserve Corps.
Dr. Suresh lives in Aldie, Virginia with her husband Siva and daughter Sanjana. She loves trying new cuisines, music, and traveling.
